08) Won first and several other top five placings at the Canadian National Field Championship Trial for 13" males
09) Won first and several other top five placings at the Canadian National Field Championship Trial for 13" females
10) Won first and third place for Better Beagling International Outstanding Hunting Beagle Award for 2003 for 13" males in the USA
11) Won first and second place for All Canada Award for 2003 for 13" Males in CANADA
12) Won 51 first place trophies in AKC competitions in the USA
13) Won 18 first place trophies in CKC and Beagle on Fox competitions in CANADA
14) Won numerous other Club/Association/Federation High Hound Awards for 13" Male hounds in both the USA and CANADA
15) Won three firsts and several top five placings in the International Trial of Champions for the 13" combined (male/female) class

Mojave Desert Beagles is my registered kennel name for registry record keeping purposes so I can keep track of my Beagle bloodline in pedigrees; this IS NOT a Doing Business As (DBA) name. I am strictly an individual hobby breeder (not a company, business, or commercial pet enterprise) and I own and compete with purebred, registered Beagles as a hobby only. I have owned, trained and competed with the world's best quality Beagles for 35+ years, since 1967. All of my Beagles are American Kennel Club (AKC) registered and most are also dual-registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). I do have a several dogs that are also triple-registered with the United Kennel Club (UKC), and/or the National Kennel Club (NKC) for competition purposes. I only bred two litters per year consisting of about 15 to 18 Beagle pups here in the state of California, but they are from the absolute best breeding possible. Only three (03) of my Beagles are here in the state of California at any given time because of the fact that California does not have any Beagle Field Trial Clubs in this state that run fast or medium-speed Beagles. Therefore, all but three (03) of my Beagles are on the road and in competitions throughout the USA on any given day of the year. My extended family consisting of my father, three (03) brothers, (03) sisters, and two (02) of my oldest sons also breed the "MOJAVE DESERT" bloodline, so if I don't have a puppy for you, then someone in my extended family probably can help you out with a Beagle puppy. I will only advertise my pups and the pups of my extended family on this website since all are from the same bloodline. I truly love the Beagle breed and I want the dogs from my bloodline to go to great families that will appreciate a quality bred Beagle puppy. I keep a Beagle pup for myself out of every litter I breed and I only sell the littermates to help pay for all of the costs of competition, which are staggering to say the least. The following are just some of the costs related to Beagle competitions on the scale that I love to compete throughout the USA and Canada: professional trainers, professional handlers, equipment, lodging, fuel, air travel, feed, Beagle health care (exams, shots, dewormings), dog feed, utilities for kennels, Vet fees, registration fees, trial fees and so much more. On most years I lose money, so I am doing this hobby as a love of the breed and for the thrill of competition.

My dogs are true, multi-purpose hounds bred for rabbit/hare hunting, gundog Beagle field trials, gundog bench shows, and family pets. I have fast-speed Beagles that are currently located throughout the US and Canada. My hounds are actively competing in both AKC/CKC Large Pack and AKC Small Pack Option field trials. I place a couple litters of puppies each year out of my competition dogs. All of my dogs are of the absolute highest quality and best breeding with a long heritage of champions. I normally have some nice International Field Champions (IFC), Field Trial Champions (FTC), Field Champions (FC), National Field Champions (NFC), Champions (CH), and/or Certified Hunting Beagles (CHB) in my kennel and competition program at all times. All of my Beagles come from a long ancestry of champions.

I try to keep this page updated when I have a few puppies for sale. The pages also has links to my past litters, current prices, shipping costs, photographs of my dogs/puppies, and online pedigrees for your viewing and/or downloading pleasure. Please fill out my Beagle Information Request Form and tell me exactly what type of Beagle you are looking for. My dogs and their living quarters are inspected regularly I always pass inspections with the highest marks. Every dog or puppy I place in a new home comes with a sales agreement, health guarantee, complete health records, and a life-time take back policy should you ever feel you can not properly take care of your Beagle for any reason whatsoever.

I am located in the Southwestern part of the Mojave Desert in Southern California. This region is a High Desert with an elevation of 3,500 to 4,500 ft. and has a moderate temperature with low humidity. The summers are warm with a light breeze and during the winter months we get an occasional snow that usually only stays on the ground for a few days. The entire High Desert along with the nearby San Bernardino National Forest and the Angeles National Forest have an abundant supply of Desert Cottontails, Black-tailed Jackrabbits, White-tailed Jackrabbits, and Snowshoe Hares that make for great hunting.

I feed and highly recommend Purina Brand Dog Foods; therefore, I am a member of the PURINA Pro Club. I feed all of my competition hounds and stud dogs Purina Pro Plan; my younger, more active, adult dogs get fed Purina Hi Pro; our older, less active, adult dogs get fed Purina Dog Chow; and all of our puppies get fed Purina Puppy Chow.
