BUYER BEWARE -
PLEASE
DO NOT SUPPORT PUPPY MILLS!!!

These cruel operations find their primary outlet in pet stores, although some sell direct from ads in newspapers and websites. They exist for one reason, and one reason ONLY: TO MAKE MONEY. They normally sell more than one breed (often many different breeds) and they produce pups from inferior parents and in filthy, cramped living conditions. No matter how many of these people the USDA shuts down or the AKC suspends from privileges, they continue to find ways to do their cruel business so long as YOU BUY THEIR DOGS! If you don't buy from us, at least buy from another reputable breeder that breeds only Beagles and strives to breed "quality" Beagles which actually improve the breed. Look for a Beagle breeder that has been involved with Beagles for several years; perhaps five or more as a bare minimum. Look for a Beagle breeder that keeps some pups for themselves out of every litter they produce. Look for a Beagle breeder that owns AKC (American Kennel Club) or CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered dogs and has dogs in competition which is a way for that breeder to test the dogs they are producing against dogs produced by other reputable breeders. Have that breeder provide you access to several of their buyer references and PLEASE! take the time to contact several of those references and inquire about that breeder's customer service and the quality of the dog(s) purchased from that breeder. If you don't do your homework before buying your Beagle, and you end up with an inferior quality Beagle that has lifelong health problems, then shame on you!!! Beagles are a living, breathing animal that are a big investment and whether or not you should own one, needs to be carefully thought out before making the purchase. Also, look for a breeder that offers a lifetime take-back policy on every Beagle they produce because Beagles live for an average of 12 to 15 years and any number of things can change with your family's ability to keep and properly take care of your dog during this very long period of time. Myself and other Beagle breeders DO NOT want to see more homeless Beagles ending up in Beagle Rescues!!!
